Food Fare & Craft Fare

Saturday November 23rd, 2019

St. Michael's will host a food fare & craft fare in the parish hall.

The food fare ladies will sell their famous pies, marmalade's, jams and home baking.

The craft fare is made up of various tables with vendors selling unique items, there is something for everyone, come along and start or finish your Christmas shopping.

There will also be a silent auction table and a refreshment room

MAKING ROOM FOR JESUS

A time of Advent reflection in preparation for the birth of God among us!

Come along and join our advent study led by The Rev. Canon Dr. Wendy Fletcher on Saturday November 30th from 10 am until 3 pm.

please add your name to the sign up list in the church entrance should you wish to attend.

please bring along a bagged lunch, tea and coffee will be provided.

Donations Needed

   Donations of personal hygiene products (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, deodorant…) for the people using the emergency shelter services of Atlohsa’s Native Family Healing Services Resting Place will be collected until November 24. Donations of chunky yarn will also be collected so the youth of Atlohsa  can knit hats and scarves for Resting Place visitors. A tote has been placed in the Narthex for donated items. If you are physically unable to purchase items on your own, cash donations can be given to either Janet McIlwain or Frances Cutt.

Christmas Family, donations needed

Each year, the Parish of St. Michael and All Angels provides a complete Christmas to a particularly needy family in our community.   This has become an important part of celebrating Christmas for each of us. This year, we have a family of six 

They are: Mum and Dad, a girl aged seven and two boys, aged six and four years.  There is also an adult daughter.   Please contact the church should you be able to help this family. Deadline for collection is Friday, December 20th.
