Greg is providing spiritual leadership to our St Michael's community during this time of transition, as we journey through the process of selecting a new Parish Priest Greg recently retired from parish ministry and his role as Director of Field Education and Community Formation at Huron University College. Greg continues as the diocesan representative to the board of the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) and chair of PWRDF Huron Committee. He has been a member of Bridge Builders (a conversation and working group of Indigenous and non-Indigenous individuals in the Diocese considering how we repudiate the Doctrine of Discovery) for several years and now serves as convenor. Greg also continues as a member and Honourary Assistant at St. Aidan's, London. The community of St. Michael's is so grateful for Greg's leadership and support during this time.
I have been at St. Michael’s and All Angels for thirty years. Yikes, that’s a long time. I blinked and the days turned to years. I am blessed to be a part of this parish family. I have recently been ordained to the diaconate and am enjoying the role as deacon. I would like to thank my husband Bruce, marvellous kids, and parish family for being so supportive, sweet and kind. Be well everyone, stay safe and be kind to one another.
A gifted musician, vocalist and educator, John's leadership is grounded in his faith, bringing the joy of music to our worship. The talents of our choir and musicians under John's guidance enhance our parish life, and help make St. Michaels such a special place to belong.
Kim is new to our church office but is no stranger to church life. She has worked as a Church Office Administrator for the last 22 years. Kim and her husband Doug, have two grown daughters, two Labrador Retrievers, two cats, and have billeted 8 London Knight hockey players over the last decade. Kim is very happy to be a part of St. Mikes!
